You wouldn't guess that two three year olds would enjoy a presidential museum, but ours did. A great museum and a great time. If you're ever in Springfield, you should visit.

Rosenbaum House - Florence AL

We had a great visit at the Rosenbaum Home in Florence, AL. This is the only Frank Lloyd Wright home in Alabama.

We were a bit nervous about taking the twins, but they were well-behaved. Although Lucy did want to sit in an expensive Charles Eames chair.

Remember, Remember the month of November

Lots happening in the latest batch of November pictures:

• Halloween - including Trick or Treating and its aftermath.
• Lily and Lucy turned 3. Happy Birthday!
• An afternoon at the Decatur playground

• We ventured out to the creepy, but fascinating Yellow River Game Ranch. Home of obese bears, morbidly obese pot belly pigs and lots of scrawny deer.

Our friend Charles put together this great video for Halloween. Carrie and Sam down the street get top billing, but Lily and Lucy make cameos. Sam knocks off a candle on our front step in one scene.

Wrens

Lots of catching up to do

It's been a long time since a post. Some highlights from the month of September include:

• A highly anticipated visit to Sesame Street Live
• A visit to the Coke museum where me met up with Aunt Ive, Tio Ronnie and Abu Mama
• A random, inexplicable tantrum
• Ballet class
• A visit to the Fiesta Del Pueblo in Tifton, which included a ride in a bucket and a hug from Abu Mama

Puerto Rico

We had a great trip to Puerto Rico over the long Labor Day weekend. Ive and Ronald were gracious hosts. They kept the kids on Friday, giving Amy and I the opportunity to visit El Yunque with Gian Carlo and Gaby. We lucked out on the weather; getting spacious views of the island just before the clouds rolled in.

On Saturday, we went to Old San Juan, spending time at El Morro and at Parque de las Palomas where the girls enjoyed feeding the pigeons.

Then Sunday, we spent time at cousin Alexis and Amerilis' home where we enjoyed time in the pools, big and small.
